INSPIRATION  : “The Hand” directed by Wong Kar-wai is one of the three segments film called Eros. Each of  the  three  segments addresses the themes of love and sex. The Hand is about the  unrequited  romance between a tailor named Zhang and Miss Hua, starred by Gong Li. She is the popular  courtesan on whom Zhang lavishes his most creative work. He met  Miss Hua while  he was  still a  young apprentice,  hearing  her having  sex  with  a client  as  he waited in the next room. When she saw that this excited the  young teen, she humiliated him before quelling his erection  with  a  hand  job.  This  simple  gesture  was  enough  to  earn Zhang’s  loyalty  for life,  even when Miss Hua’s look and beauty started to fail her.It assured that he will always think about her while designing her clothes.
